Early on, I learned that this place would bless our lives. As we began to visit our land, to work it, to improve it, I began to receive insights. Lessons all around me. In everything. I would have a thought, and it would be followed by a connected thought. Different, but connected. Example after example. I knew that through this place my Heavenly Father would teach me the things I needed to know to truly build my house and my life on the Rock.
Lesson after lesson. Running through my mind. Profound. Most still forgotten too quickly. Hence, my decision to record those lessons. I want to remember them. I want to learn from them. I want to relearn from them. I want to never forget. I have been blessed beyond measure in my life. I want to build on the Rock. Literally, and figuratively.
"And now, my sons, remember, remember that it is upon the rock of our Redeember, who is Christ, the Son of God, that ye must build your foundation; that when the devil shall send forth his mighty winds, yea, his shafts in the whirlwind, yea, when all his hail and his mighty storm shall beat upon you, it shall have no power over you to drag you down to the gulf of misery and endless wo, because of the rock upon which ye are built, which is a sure foundation, a foundation whereon if men build they cannot fall." -Helaman 5:12
